Founded in 2006 by Sherri Roberts, BEI Master and CCHI-certified interpreter with 30+ years of experience. SLIS provides on-site and remote sign language interpreting, Video Remote Interpreting (VRI), and real-time transcription (CART, TypeWell, C-Print) for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind clients.

SLIS personally vets every interpreter on its roster and specializes in medical, legal, educational, and business settings. Remote services are available across the United States; on-site services are concentrated in Texas (Bryan, College Station, Huntsville, Brenham, and surrounding areas).
